Royal Dublin's Niall Kearney only made the halfway cut by the skin of his teeth after a damaging double bogey on his final hole in the Asian Tour Q-School in Thailand.

Slowly but surely things are falling into place for 2009 Walker Cup star Niall Kearney. With his injury problems resolved and his victories in the Irish PGA and the Titleist PGA Play-offs last year underlining his maturity as a professional, he took another step forward in his career on Saturday when he clinched his Asian Tour card for 2015.
