Walker Cup hopeful Niall Kearney is lurking just one stroke off the lead entering the final 36 holes of the South of England Amateur Championship at Walton Heath.

The Royal Dublin star, a leading candidate for Walker Cup honours this year thanks to his win in the Brabazon Trophy, shot a four under par 68 to trail England's Simon Crockett.
