Senior Ladies face Belgium for European title;
The Irish Senior Ladies Team are on track to win the Senior European Team Championships at Sierra Golf Club in Poland after overcoming Sweden in the semi-final.
The order of play remained the same as Carol Wickham (Laytown & Bettystown) and Sheena McElroy (Grange) got Ireland off to a winning start with a 2&1 victory in the foursomes.
Suzanne Corcoran (Portumna) had a tight match with her opponent as it was all square through nine but she secured a vital point on the home green.
Laura Webb (East Berkshire) was also all square turning but produced top class form on the back nine to finish her match on the 15th, resulting in Ireland progressing to the final tomorrow, where they face fifth seeds Belgium.
Belgium saw off top seed qualifiers England to book their place in the final.
