Harrington three back in Japan; Irish struggle in France
Japan Golf Tour — Pádraig Harrington is three shots behind Argentina's Emiliano Grillo and Korea's Sang-Hyun Par after two rounds of the ISPS HANDA Global Cup 2016 in Japan.
The 44-year old shares seventh place on seven under par after making three birdies and one bogey in a second round 69 at Tokinodai Country Club in Hakui, Ishikawa.
Harrington, who had just 24 putts and 12 single putts in round one, had 30 putts earlier today.
Grillo shot a 67 and Park a 69 to leave them one ahead of Jun-Won Park (67) and Thailand's Thanyakon Khrongpha (67).
Irish struggling in France
Alps Tour — Ireland's Tommy O'Driscoll and David Carey have work to do to make the cut in the Open International de la Mirabelle d'Or.
O'Driscoll shares 58th after a three over 74 with Carey 106th after a 78.
Italy's Alessandro Grammatica and French pair Thomas Grava and amateur Hubert Tisserand lead on four under after 67s.
Weather delays Brabazon
The second round Brabazon Trophy was delayed because of torrential rain at London Golf Club.
Naas' Jack Hume carded a four under 68 to share ninth place on three under.
