In-form Selfridge chasing Boyd in Scotland

Chris Selfridge added an immaculate 65 to his opening 69 to share fourth place at halfway in the SSE Scottish Hydro Challenge hosted by Macdonald Hotels and Resorts.

The Moyola Park rookie is six shots behind Gary Boyd on eight under par but clearly playing with huge confidence in his just four start as a professional.

Alan Dunbar shot 70 to share 35th on three under but the rest of the Irish missed the cut

Leader Boyd shot a second successive 64 to lead by four shots on 14 under par from compatriot Robert Coles (66) and by three from Max Orrin (65).
