Moynihan and McDermott on form at Portmarnock Links

The Island's Gavin Moynihan kept his game sharp for the Second Stage of Q-School next month in the Tuesday Winter Series outing at Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links.
The former Walker Cup player, now a rookie professional, shot a three under 68 to win the gross by a stroke from Naas' Jonathan Yates with jack Hume third on one under.
PGA professional Michel McDermott won the Nett with a 67, two strokes better than Craddock's Lee McMillan and The Island's Joseph Haney.
