Q-School: Rawluk battles back
The Island's David Rawluk bounced back from an early double bogey to fire a five under 67 and move to within a shot of the qualifying places in the European Tour Qualifying School Stage One Section B at Frilford Heath.
The Dubliner took six at the par-four second but hit back with seven birdies to move up 18 spots to tied 24th on five under.
With the top 24 and ties qualifying for Stage Two next month, Rawluk is just on the mark with Newlands' Cian Curley one off the pace on four under after a two under 70.

Mourne's Reeve Whitson did well to post a 72 after dropping four shots in three holes just before he hit the back nine. He's now on level par, tied for 59th with Banbridge's Richard Kilpatrick (71), and both men need sensational final rounds to keep their card hopes alive.
Amateur Barry Daly just missed the 54-hole cut on the four-over par mar despite a 71 whe Matt McAlpin's 71 wasn't enough and he made his exit for this year.
It was also a disappointing week for Lucan's Richard O'Donovan at Fleesensee Golf and Country Club in Germany.
The former East of Ireland winner dropped four shots in his first five holes and then racked up a quintuple bogey 10 at the 16th before dropping another four shots on his back nine in an 85.
He missed the cut by nine shots at a venue where the Czech Republic's Filip Mruzek rocketed up the leaderboard with an eight under 64 to lead on 10 under with Frenchman Damien Perrier (68).
The cut-off point for qualification to Stage Two is currently three under, with 23 players on that mark heading into the final round.
At Frilford Heath Golf Club, Englishman Nick McCarthy had a five under par 67 to remain on top spot at 15 under.
The man from Leeds moved one shot clear of two other English men, Lee S James and overnight leader Daniel Gavins.
Korean Jin-Woo Park had the round of the day, a seven under par 65 to move up 38 places and into the qualifying zone. Twenty-places (plus ties) are up for grabs at the English venue.
Also at Frilford Heath was former professional footballer Jimmy Bullard, whose third round of 79 put paid to his chances of progress.
