Rosapenna's Ruaidhri McGee is just three shots off the lead with a round to go in the Kärnten Golf Open presented by Mazda.

The Derry man birdied the 18th at Golfclub Schloss Finkenstein near Villach in Austria, carding a two under 69 to share 14th place on 11 under.

ust three strokes cover the top 18 on the leaderboard with Cyril Bouinol of France firing a 63 to share the lead with Denmark's Jeppe Huldahl (66) on 14 under par.

But they are just one stroke clear of a group of no fewer than eight players with Challenge Tour rookie McGee still in with a shout.

Lurgan's Gareth Shaw could make just one birdie in a one over 72 that saw him fall 33 places to tied 43rd on seven under.
