Power sitting pretty at Web.com Q-School
West Waterford’s Seamus Power continued his strong challenge at the Second Stage of the PGA Tour's Web.com Q-School in Florida.
The former Irish amateur international, the leading money winner on the eGolf Professional Tour this season, shot a second successive 68 to sit alone in third place on six under par at Plantation Preserve Golf Course & Club, three shots behind leader James White.
The Top 18 and ties at the Florida venue, one of six Second Stage sites, will progress to the Final Stage scheduled for the Fazio and Champion courses at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens from December 11-16.
Making it to the Final Stage will guarantee Power, 27, some status on the Web.com Tour where the Top 25 at the end of the season will win promotion to the lucrative PGA Tour.
