Gillen and Coakley tenth in European Nations Cup

Ireland's Martina Gillen and Rebecca Coakley tied for tenth place as the Netherlands romped to a four-stroke victory at the Comunitat Valenciana European Nations Cup in Spain.

Christel Boeljon and Marjet Van der Graaff fired a six-under 66 to finish on 18-under par and overtake third round leaders Gwladys Nocera and Anne-Lise Caudal of France at La Sella Resort near Alicante.

France shared second place with Italy and Australia on 14-under as Gillen and Coakley closed with a one-under par 71 in the foursomes to share tenth place with Denmark on six-under.

Halfway leaders Beth Daniel and Meg Mallon of the United States finished with a 10-under total and claimed outright seventh place.
