Leona Maguire returns in action in the HSBC Women's World Championship in Singapore looking for her third LPGA win as Sara Byrne begins her bid for an LPGA Tour card on the second tier Epson Tour in Florida.

Ronan Mullarney spearheads a five-strong Irish challenge on the Alps Tour in Egypt while Shane Lowry and Seamus Power return to action on the PGA Tour in the Cognizant Classic (formerly the Honda Classic) in Palm Beach Gardens.

Irish in action - Shane Lowry and Seamus Power will fly the flag for Irish golf in West Palm Beach.

Lowry has an excellent record in the event, finishing in the top five in his last three starts. Power is making his first appearance since 2019, hoping to put in a good performance after missing out the cut in his three previous appearances.

It was a modest week for Irish golf around the world with Ronan Mullarney on the Alps Tour and Leona Maguire in the Honda LPGA Thailand the big Irish winners.

MEXICO OPEN AT VIDANTAWORLD — Winner BRIAN CAMPBELL

Journeyman Brian Campbell (31) won the Mexico Open at Vidanta, beating South African rookie Aldrich Potgieter with a birdie at the second playoff hole to move to 12th in the FedExCup standings.

He is now fully exempt through the 2027 PGA TOUR season and earns spots in all five remaining Signature Events this season, plus THE PLAYERS Championship, Masters Tournament, PGA Championship, and 2026 Sentry 2026.

Padraig Harrington had a poor week on the greens and missed the cut by four strokes.

MAGICAL KENYA OPEN Winner JACQUES KRUYSWIJK

South African Jacques Kruyswijk claimed his maiden DP World Tour title after an impressive display of frontrunning to win the 2025 Magical Kenya Open presented by absa by two shots.

Rookie Conor Purcell (27) shot rounds of 74 and 70 to miss the level cut by two shots. Purcell has made two of his first six cuts since winning twice on the HitePlanner Tour last year to earn his DP World Tour card.

Ballymena’s Dermot McElroy missed the cut by four strokes after rounds of 76 and 74.

Alps Tour

Former Alps Tour number one Ronan Mullarney got 2025 off to a strong start when he finished tied for second in the season-opening Ein Bay Open in Egypt.

The Galway man (29) closed with a five-under 67 at Sokhna Golf Club to finish a shot behind winner Luca Galliano of Switzerland on 12-under-par (€3,443).

Hugh Foley was T10 with Robert Moran T17 and John Murphy T20.
