Flogas Irish Scratch Series returns at Powerscourt East on October 8
The Flogas Irish Scratch Series returns next month with a first visit to Powerscourt’s East Course on Friday, October 8.
Organisers Gary and Valerie Keating are really looking forward to the event.
“It is great to bring The Irish Scratch Series to different venues around Ireland”, Gary Keating said. “It gives players an opportunity to play different golf courses. The East course was designed by Walker cup captain Peter McEvoy and has hosted the Irish PGA where Ryder Cup captain Pádraig Harrington won in a playoff. It is a magnificent course and should prove an excellent challenge for the players.”
The Irish Scratch Series is open to male and female professionals and elite Amateurs with guaranteed first prizes of €400 for the best gross and €150 for the best nett. The entry fee is €40 professionals and amateurs and €30 for members.
Bookings can be made through the BRS system or through the Irish Scratch Series Instagram account.
