Keating edges out Grehan at The K Club

Seapoint’s Dylan Keating will head off to the US on a golf scholarship with a spring in his step after his win in the Flogas Irish Scratch Series at The K Club.
The former Boys international overcame Monday’s wet and windy conditions on the Palmer South Course to top the leaderboard in the third outing of the Series this year.
Set for the University of Illinois next week, Keating claimed his second Irish Scratch Series win when he pipped Tullamore professional Stuart Grehan on a countback with a gross 72.
Robert Buckley won the first nett with 73 as Jonathan Kelly took the second nett with a 75.
The Flogas Irish Scratch Series is open to male and female professionals and elite amateurs. The maximum handicap is six for men and 10 for ladies. The autumn schedule will be announced in the coming weeks via social media.
