Cooper tops in Leinster Under 13 Boys Series qualifier at Donabate

Sean Cooper topped the field in the second qualifier for the Titleist sponsored Leinster U13 Boys Series as 24 players progressed from Donabate to the final at Killeen Golf Club on August 28.
The Enniscorthy Golf Club talent put in a tremendous finish, playing his last five holes in six-under to amass 45 points and win by three points from Laytown and Bettystown’s Daniel McKenna and by five from Ballykisteen’s Gordan Sillett.
The leading trio will be joined at Killeen by Fionnan O’Connor, Harley Phipps, Adam Fahey, Jack McGovern, Matthew Lynch, James McDermott Walsh, William Walshe, Jack McKenna, Luke Furlong, Ruairi Cooper, Luke Boyle, Harry Flood, Matthew Clifford, Paddy Copeland, William O'Riordan, Toby Murphy, Freddie Bracken, Evan Butler, Maddox Meers, Atharva Rajeshkumar and Cian O’Dwyer.
Royal Curragh’s Calum Duane, Tullamore’s Evan Monaghan and Carton House’s Alex Kerins topped the qualifiers at Athy Golf Club where Ryan Barry, Ryan Burke and Finn Jolly also claimed spots in the Series Final at Killeen Golf Club.
