Mooney and Moriarty on top in Philip Walton Pro-Am at Malahide

Experienced campaigners Damian Mooney and Colm Moriarty topped the leaderboard at the Philip Walton Pro-Am supporting St Francis Hospice at Malahide.

Mooney (Damian Mooney Golf) and Moriarty (Glasson GC) posted rounds of two-under-par 69 to finish one shot ahead of Steven Quinlan (SQ Golf) and Daniel Beattie.

Beattie grabbed victory in the team competition, guiding his amateur partners to success with 94 points.
