TaylorMade Winter Series: Dunne and Cohen best at Portmarnock Links
European Tour player Paul Dunne carded a two-under 69 to win the gross in the TaylorMade Winter Series at Portmarnock Links.
Out in two- under par thanks to at the third and sixth, the European Tour winner came home in level par, picking up his third birdie on the 13th before dropping his only shot of the day on the 16th.
He won the gross by a shot from local man Declan O’Neill and by two from playing partner Paul McBride.
In the nett, Wexford professional Brad Cohen also shot 69, mixing birdies at the sixth, 13th, 14th and 16th holes with a bogey at the eighth to win by a shot from Brendan Walton, who had five birdies in a 70, and by two from St Margaret’s James Green, who shot 71 off five.
