Stephanie consolidates as Leona inches up Symetra Tour money list

Leona Maguire edged her way a little further up the Symetra Tour money list when she finished tied for 19th in the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship in Michigan on Sunday to move up to 64th her race for an LPGA Tour card.
The Co Cavan star has just six events left to make top 10 in the Volvik Race for the Card and while Stephanie Meadow is comfortably on track at second in the money list following her tie for 16th in Battle Creek on Sunday, Maguire still has time to bridge the $28,606 gap with tenth place.
The next event on the schedule is next week's 72-hole Sioux Falls GreatLIFE Challenge in South Dakota where Celine Boutier won last year to take home $31,500.
A win would be ideal for Leona, who has one top-3 and two top-20s from her seven starts so far.
After visits to Kansas, Arizona, Alabama and Florida, the final money list will be decided in the season-ending Symetra Tour Championship around the Jones Course at LPGA International in Daytona Beach in Florida from October 4-7.
