Power nine behind in Memphis but tied 10th
Seamus Power is nine shots off the lead after a bogey-bogey finish left him tied for tenth heading into the final round of the FedEx St Jude Classic.
The West Waterford man began the day four strokes behind Dustin Johnson on six-under-par while he was two under with two to play, he bogeyed the 17th after failing to reach the green from the right rough, then hit his tee shot into the water at the 18th to drop another shot and card a level par 70.
At six-under par, he's nine strokes behind world number two Johnson, who shot a 65, and Andrew Putnam, who posted a six-under-par 64 to share the lead on 15-under par.
They are five strokes clear of former Open champion Stewart Cink, who holed a wedge for an ace at the 144-yard eighth in a 64.
Shane Lowry was four-under for his round with two holes to play but also finishing with two bogeys for a 68 that leaves him tied 29th on three-under with Pádraig Harrington tied 58th on one-over after making a double-bogey six at the 18th for the second day running as he carded a 71.
