Simon Bryan bounces back from Q-School reverse with first win

Simon Bryan gave his morale a boost when he won his maiden professional event on The Gecko Tour just a month after the upset of being disqualified on day one of the Alps Tour Qualifying School.
The former Delgany standout shot rounds of 70 and 69 to win by a shot on three-under-par at Lauro Golf iin Málaga from Argentina’s Diego Lastra, Spain’s Miguel Angel Jiménez Bravo and Manual Morugán and Colombia’s Alvaro Arizabaleta, picking up €1,900.

Bryan was disqualified at December's Alps Tour Q-School for inadvertently using a rangefinder in the first round at La Cala Resort.
But he could not have been more pleased to win, commenting on his Facebook account: "Nice to get the job done for my first professional win and always nice to see some good results from grinding away at it."
