Dunne and Ryan shine brightly in Seville
Skerries' Maria Dunne birdied the last to join Castletroy's Chloe Ryan in the mathcplay stages of the Spanish Ladies International Amateur Championship.
Ryan had five birdies and five bogeys in a 72 to qualify on five over 149 alongside Dunne, whose closing birdie at Seville's Real Club Pineda also gave her a level par 72.
The Irish pair qualified on the five over par 149 cut mark for the top 32 with Ryan 26th and Dunne 27th as Italy's Virginia Carta topped the qualifiers on five under 139, a shot ahead of Spain's Maria Herraez.
Royal County Down Ladies Olivia Mehaffey shot 78 to miss out by two shots on 151 with Niamh McSherry (80) 67th on 155 and Sinead Sexton (81) 91st on 164.
In the Nations Cup, the Ireland trio of Dunne, Mehaffey and Ryan finished ninth on 294, nine shots behind Spain B.
Friday's openign round of matchplay combat sees Dunne take on Chloe Williams of Wales and Ryan pitted against the Belgian Diane Bailleaux.
