Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler will make cameo appearances when the long-awaited sequel Happy Gilmore 2 hits Netflix screens later this year.

Almost 30 years after golf fans watched the long-driving hero win the Tour Championship, Adam Sandler returns as Happy Gilmore alongside a few favourites and some new faces.

Joining Sandler are original Happy Gilmore stars Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald and new co-star Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (aka Bad Bunny).

Some professional golfers have joined the roster, too, including McIlroy, Scheffler, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, Will Zalatoris, John Daly, Lee Trevino, Rickie Fowler, Keegan Bradley, Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele,

Exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from Happy Gilmore 2 will be featured in the upcoming season of Full Swing, which premiers on Netflix on February 25 with McIlroy and Shane Lowry both featuring.

You can also see Sandler as Happy Gilmore facing down none other than Shooter McGavin (McDonald).

A teaser clip released by Netflix features Bowen and McDonald, as well as new faces like Travis Kelce, who says what we’re all thinking: “It’s great to see you back, Mr. Gilmore.”
