England’s Charley Hull has been added to the roster of stars confirmed for July’s KPMG Women’s Irish Open.

The Solheim Cup star will join teammates Leona Maguire, Georgia Hall and Madelene Sagatrom, and 2026 European captain Anna Nordqvist on the O’Meara Course at Carton House, Fairmont, from July 3-6.

Seven-time Solheim Cup star Hull, who has claimed six career wins on the LPGA and LET tours, is looking forward to making her debut in Ireland as the promoters take advantage of a better date on the schedule, a week before the fourth of the five women’s Majors, the Evian Championship.

“I’ve heard so many good things about the KPMG Women’s Irish Open and I can’t wait to play,” Hull said.

“This will be my first professional event in Ireland since I turned pro in 2013, and it seems like the perfect event to mark this occasion.”

Seamus Hand of KPMG said: “The addition of Charley Hull to the field will take the event to a new level this year.

“To watch her play alongside Leona Maguire and the new Solheim Cup captain, Anna Nordqvist will be incredible.”

The tournament has gone from strength to strength since KPMG stepped in to revive it in 2022 after a decade-long hiatus, attracting nearly 100,000 fans and a global audience of over 100 million in its first three editions.

Defending champion Annabel Dimmock will return to defend her title alongside the World amateur number one, Lottie Woad.

Many Irish amateurs and professionals are expected to join the star-studded line-up.

Carton House professional Lauren Walsh, LET rookies Anna Foster, Annabel Wilson, Sara Byrne and Canice Screene, and Curtis Cup stars Beth Coulter and Aine Donegan, who are turning professional this summer, are all expected to play.
