THIS WEEK - Week 5 (Ending 2 February 2025)

Galway’s Liam Nolan moved to second in the Challenge Tour standings when he finished an excellent solo third on his 2025 debut in the SDC Championship in South Africa.

Without a full category, Alps Tour player Nolan earned a spot in this week’s MyGolfLife Open through the Top 5 category and doesn’t have to use a sponsor’s exemption.

It will be the first event of the season for Robert Moran, Dermot McElroy and Jonathan Caldwell while Max Kennedy returns to action after his missed cut in the SDC Championship.

Pádraig Harrington and Conor Purcell play the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship on the DP World Tour while on the PGA Tour. Shane Lowry is joined by Rory McIlroy and Seamus Power for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Leona Maguire makes her first start of 2025 in the LPGA’s Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in Lake Nona.

In amateur golf, Beth Coulter returns to action for ASU in the BIG EAST Match Play, West Palm Peach, Fla.
