Murray and Nolan win East of Ireland Mixed Foursomes

Delgany's Lauren Murray and Marc Nolan survived a late scare to win the East of Ireland Mixed Foursomes title by three strokes at Greystones.
The Co Wicklow pair trailed Tullamore's Stuart Grehan and Seapoint's Carla Reynolds by a stroke after carding a four-over 73 in the morning round.
But despite a triple bogey-bogey finish at the first and second having started on the third, a seven-over 76 was enough for them in the end as they finished a shot ahead of Castletroy's Andrew McCormack and Chloe Ryan (74, 78) on 11-over par 149.
Grehan and Reynolds went out in a disappointing 43 but were still very much in the hunt until they bogeyed the 16th and double bogeyed the 17th to finish third on 15-over after a closing 81.
