Irish cut in French Amateur
Portmarnock's Geoff Lenehan and Headfort's Rory McNamara missed the cut comfortably in the French Amateur Open at Chantilly.
The cut fell at 148 but Lenehan missed out by six shots after adding a 75 to his opening 79. Results - Web | PDF | Final day Draw
McNamara, who had a tough time on the greens on the back nine, added a 76 to his first round 81 to miss by nine shots on 15 over 157.
Thomas Le Berre of France leads heading in the final two rounds with scores of 66 and 72 leaving him one clear of compatriot Kenny Subregis on four under 138.
