Tiger Woods headed from Ohio to New York following his stunning win at the Memorial to play a practice round with his coach Hank Haney at US Open venue Bethpage.

The world No 1 captured the US Open there in 2002 but the difference this year is that the Black Course, which has been lengthened to 7,426 yards, features graduated rough that should allow players to reach the green instead of hacking out to the fairway.
